We require renters to have some previous kayaking experience. If you are inexperienced in ocean swell, we highly recommend one of our guided tours! You will be kayaking in open ocean conditions and significant hazards may exist.
We reserve the right to refuse rentals if we feel conditions exceed your ability.
Our staff will orient renters to the area and you will be given a map that indicates danger zones and areas that are off limits to kayakers.
Renters are not permitted to enter the caves. Lifeguards enforce this rule and may issue tickets.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children under 14 must be on a tandem kayak with an adult.
- Children under 10 must be on a guided tour.

You will get wet! Please bring a change of clothes for after your adventure.
Anything you take with you will get wet so please leave car keys, cell phones, cameras, and any other valuables in our complimentary lockers.
The ocean claims many pairs of glasses every year. The best way to ensure you don't lose yours is with a retention strap. These are available inexpensively in our shop.
Even waterproof electronics may end up on the bottom of the sea if not tethered to you. If you want to take photos, please plan accordingly. We have waterproof cases with straps for your cell phone available for purchase for your convenience.
